Contract information
Terms and Conditions
Version dated 13 September 2026
1. Practitioner and scope
These terms govern online support sessions provided by Dominique, a psychopractitioner undergoing IMA certification, who can be contacted at contact@mapsychopraticienne.fr. They are made available before any booking.
2. Nature of the service
Sessions provide psychopractitioner listening and personal support. They are not medical or psychiatric consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions or treatments, and do not replace care from a healthcare professional when required. The website is not an emergency service. In France, call 15 or 112 in an immediate emergency; 3114 is the national suicide prevention number. Clients elsewhere must use their local emergency services.
The practitioner undertakes to use appropriate care but cannot guarantee any particular outcome.
3. Booking request and confirmation
Available sessions are displayed in the practitioner’s calendar. The client chooses a suitable time. Selecting it is a request, not final acceptance.
The practitioner may accept or decline a session without giving a reason, subject to applicable law. A booking becomes final only after acceptance by the practitioner, receipt of payment or use of a session credit, and confirmation sent to the client.
4. Prices and packages
The applicable prices are those displayed in euros when the order is placed. The same price applies on the French and English websites. A package states its number of sessions and validity period at purchase. A package priced at zero euros is not offered for sale.
5. Payment
An accepted session must be paid in full no later than 72 hours before it begins. If accepted less than 72 hours in advance, payment is due immediately and must be received before the session. Otherwise, the practitioner may cancel the booking and release the time slot.
Payment may be made using the methods offered on the website or by bank transfer. The bank transfer reference must contain only the name or nickname used for the booking and no information about the purpose of the session. Payment is complete when the funds have been received; a transfer order or screenshot is not proof of receipt. Any bank charges remain payable by the client.
6. Cancellation or rescheduling by the client
Paid sessions are non-refundable, subject to mandatory consumer rights. For a request received at least 24 hours before the session, the practitioner may offer a new time or restore the credit used, without being required to issue a refund.
A session cancelled less than 24 hours before it begins, interrupted because of the client, or missed by the client is payable in full and cannot be refunded, rescheduled or credited back. The practitioner may exceptionally waive this rule in cases of force majeure or serious circumstances reported by the client.
7. Cancellation by the practitioner
If the practitioner cancels an accepted session, the client may choose to reschedule it, restore the credit or receive a full refund. No additional compensation is due.
8. Remote sessions
The client is responsible for having a suitable connection, device and quiet location that protects confidentiality. If a technical problem attributable to the client substantially prevents the session, it may be considered completed. If the issue is attributable to the practitioner or service used, another appointment or a refund will be offered.
9. Right of withdrawal
For a distance contract, consumer clients generally have a statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period. A client who expressly asks for performance to begin before it ends acknowledges that the right is lost after the session has been fully performed. If the client withdraws after expressly requesting that performance begin, the proportionate amount for services already provided remains payable. An unambiguous request may be sent to the email address above.
10. Confidentiality and personal data
Communications are treated with discretion and confidentiality, subject to legal limits. Data required to manage requests, appointments, payments and accounts is processed under the website’s Privacy Policy. Booking, payment and video-conferencing providers also apply their own policies.
11. Complaints
Complaints must be sent to contact@mapsychopraticienne.fr so that an amicable solution can be sought.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. The parties will first seek an amicable resolution. If none is reached, the client retains the right to bring the matter before the competent court under the applicable rules.
